John Alex Cropper passed from this life in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 16, 2018, due to a recent illness. John was born in Burtonville, Kentucky on July 14, 1942, to James Alexander Cropper and Lena Wells (Rolph) Cropper. He was a United States Army veteran. John was an avid race fan, attending many races all around this great nation, and a championship race team owner. He was a resident of McCordsville, Indiana for over 50 years and was the owner of Cropper Trailer Sales in Fortville.
John is survived by his wife Sandra Ellen (Hinen) Cropper; four children; son Craig Alan (Janet) Cropper, daughter Lisa Dawn (Dale) Hacker, son Rodney Alex (Michelle) Cropper, and daughter Jenefier Ellen (Mike) Terry. John was blessed with eight grandchildren: Matthew, Rachel, Emily, Josh, Jeremy, Jada, Alex, and Natalie. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William Oliver Cropper.
Friends may call on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Pine Valley Church in Tollesboro, KY.
