Calligraphy 102 class offered by Indie Art Studio
GREENFIELD — Indie Art Studio, 2 W. Main St., will offer a Calligraphy 102 class from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Designed for amateur calligraphers with a basic understanding of pointed pens and basic Copperplate strokes, this is the perfect follow-up course to last week’s Calligraphy 101 students. This class will review the basics of pen and ink, examine individual strokes and letterforms and discuss tips and tricks for lettering specific items. Attendees should bring their own pens, nibs and ink. A non-refundable $25 registration is required. At Home With Us to host painted barn quilt workshop
FORTVILLE — At Home with Us – Indiana, 202 S. Main St., will host a painted barn quilt workshop Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Participants will paint an 8-point star barn quilt design on a 2-inch x 2-inch wooden surface. All supplies are included in the $40 registration fee. Michelle of Mixed Up Media by Michelle will be there to offer tips and tricks to get started. Class size is limited. GREENFIELD — Join a local, relaxed family-friendly art learning environment with the new stained glass class offered from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Patricia Elmore Center, 280 N. Apple.
