Indiana agriculture photo contest now open
INDIANA — The Indiana State Department of Agriculture is now accepting submissions for the 11th annual Indiana Agriculture photo contest, which showcases the hard work and contributions made by Hoosier farmers. The contest is open to the general public, and the winners will be honored during a special ceremony at the Indiana State Fair. Contestants may submit up to five photos in digital format. All photos must be taken in the state by Indiana residents. Entries must be submitted no later than June 30, 2018. Categories include: On the Farm, Faces of Agriculture, Agritourism and Conservation. Winners will be special guests during the Celebration of Agriculture on Aug. 16, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Normandy Barn at the Indiana State Fair. Adult craft club to meet at Sugar Creek library
NEW PALESTINE — As requested by library users, the monthly adult craft club is a social gathering to work on existing projects in a social group setting.
