Event to honor retiring Mt. Vernon educators
Mt. Vernon School Corporation will be hosting the 2018 Retiree Reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The event will be conducted upstairs in the Alumni Center at the Administrative Service Center, located at 1806 West State Road 234, Fortville.
Guests can share a written memory or drop off a card for any of the retirees at a designated table. There will be an assortment of light refreshments available.
Four teachers will be honored:
•Joan Heiden, Fortville Elementary School, 23 years
•Cathy Ringham, Mt. Comfort Elementary School, 26 years
•Adrienne Webber, Mt. Comfort Elementary School, 33 years
•Debbie Carroll, Mt. Vernon Middle School, 22 years (retired in 2017)
