GREENFIELD

Timothy Allen Eggert, 55, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on April 26, 2018, after a long battle with cancer.

Tim was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 14, 1962, to parents Philip and Frances (Ramey) Eggert. Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

Tim grew up on the near south side of Indianapolis and graduated from Manual High School in 1981. He always maintained a strong friendship with his childhood friends from the “203”, aka “The Fellas”. Tim lived briefly in Houston, Texas, before returning to Indiana, where he resided in Greenfield for the past 22 years.

Tim worked for Formica in Indianapolis, was a railroad engineer with CSX for 17 years, and most recently worked with Oak Tree Landscaping.

Tim easily made friends in every step of his life, whether from the old neighborhood, work, or new neighbors. Tim enjoyed many activities with family and friends, including mountain biking, hiking, camping, running, and whitewater rafting. Tim was an avid Pacers, Colts, and IU fan and could always be found rooting for his team over a pizza and a beer. He enjoyed life and was the life of the party. He will be greatly missed, especially his infectious laugh, sense of adventure, and big heart.

Tim is survived by his two daughters, Clarissa (Tyler) Denton and Andrea Eggert, and his partner of many years, Kayline Lyden. His siblings include John (Mary Ann) Eggert, Sharon (Bob) Russell, and James (Wanda) Eggert. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on May 12th at MyChurch Indy, 10710 Pendleton Pike, Indianapolis, Indiana. Friends may sign his online guest book at www.indianafuneralcare.com.
