GREENFIELD — Girl Scout Troop 579 encourages the community to donate to the Hancock County Humane Society as kitten season approaches.
A kitten shower is planned for 3 to 4:30 p.m. May 12 at the humane society, 214 E. Main St., Greenfield. The nonprofit needs non-clumping cat litter, Iams kitten or adult wet and dry food, Royal Canin baby cat dry food, cat toys, litter boxes, bleach, paper towels, small paper plates and more.
