Marian University student makes dean’s list
INDIANAPOLIS — Laura Banton, a 2017 graduate from Greenfield-Central High School, earned a place on Marian University’s dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester. Laura is a freshman nursing student and the daughter of Steve and Melinda Banton of Greenfield.

Student athletes named to honor roll at DePauw
GREENCASTLE — A total of 205 DePauw student-athletes have been named to the Tiger Pride honor roll for achieving a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the fall 2017 semester. The list includes the following local students: Nicholas Casey and Michael Hale (baseball), McCordsville; Michael Sosnowski (football), Greenfield; Blake Miller (track and field), McCordsville; and Samuel Voelz (track and field), New Palestine.
