NEW PALESTINE — Frenzy Animal Rescue is preparing to play host to the sixth annual Spay-Ghetti & No-Balls Dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the New Palestine Lions Club, 5242 W. U.S. 52.

The event is one of the shelter’s biggest fundraisers of the year.

Organizers are preparing for the event, seeking donated items for the silent auction.

The goal is to raise at least $4,000.

Any money raised will be used to pay for medical care and feed the animals as well as train service dogs for children with disabilities.

The organization operates strictly on donations.

Cost for the dinner in advance is $8 for adults and $4 for children.

Day-of-event tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Dinner includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and a drink; there will also be a bake sale.

Patrons can eat in or carry out.

There will also be door prizes, and the Hearts Ablaze Cloggers as well as local singers will perform.

Anyone wishing to donate items for the silent auction, volunteer to work at the dinner or volunteer to work at the rescue is asked contact Frenzy Animal Rescue at 317-861-7464 or 317-414-5662 or email [email protected].
