GREENFIELD — Have you ever walked in the Riley Festival Flower Parade? Now’s your chance to relieve your childhood.
The Riley Festival wants alumni to join the 60th anniversary of the Riley’s Children’s Flower Parade on 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in downtown Greenfield. Alumni may register at rileyfestival.com and should meet on the Pennsy Trail on South State Street at 12:15 p.m. before the event to receive a bib.
Alumni will follow the school children and are invited to bring live flowers to place around the James Whitcomb Riley in front of the Hancock County Courthouse in honor of the “Hoosier Poet.” For more information, call 317-462- 2141.
