Timothy Boyd, 63, of Greenfield, passed away at home on September 14, 2017. He waged a long battle with cancer, and was known by his friends and family as the “iron man”. Tim was born September 30, 1953, in Indianapolis, IN.
Tim is survived by beloved wife, Bonnie Neibert Boyd, daughters, Ashley Condon of Bend, Oregon, and Brittany (Andrew) Owens of Indianapolis, and mother-in-law, Jean Neibert.
Tim was predeceased by his father, Thomas Boyd and mother, Barbara Boyd, both of Indianapolis.
Tim was a graduate of Warren Central High School and Ball State University. He worked in lawn care and landscaping for all his working life.
Tim loved his family first, and leaved behind four grandsons, Riley, Lucas and Owen Condon of Bend, OR, and Fletcher Owens of Indianapolis. Other survivors include his sister, Sandra (Russell) Browning of Lebanon, IN; brother, James (Gayle) Boyd of Lawrence, IN, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim leaves behind many dear friends, including his godchildren, Morgan, James and Megan Stricker, and his great friend, John Mitchell, with whom he shared a love of running, sports, and life in general.
Please join the family for a Celebration of Life for Tim at Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church, 3179 N 600 West, Greenfield, IN, on Saturday, September 30.
