FORTVILLE
Jack C. Falkenberg, 92, of Fortville, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 27, 1925 in Carpenter, SD to the late Henry A. and Johanna (Madsen) Falkenberg. Jack was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Fortville United Methodist Church, where he served as a member of the finance committee the Fortville American Legion Post 391 and past President and Treasurer of the Fortville Lions Club. He retired as a project manager from Long Electric in 1990 and had been a member of IBEW Local 1250 for 65 years.
Jack is survived by his wife Beverly (Young) Falkenberg whom he married September 10, 1947; children: Scott C. (Janet) Falkenberg of Indianapolis; Terry L. (Robert) White of Indianapolis; Randall J. (Beci) Falkenberg of Atlanta, GA and Dean J. (Sara) Falkenberg of Fortville; 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren; sister Bonnie Triplett of Oregon.
Friends may call on Friday September 15, 2017 from 3:30pm to 6:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville, with additional calling on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 9:00am until 10:30 am, at the funeral home. A private celebration of Jack’s life will take place following visitation at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.
