SHIRLEY
Robert E. Riddle, 88, of Shirley, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. He was born April 16, 1929 in Hartford City, IN to the late Johnny and Sarah Riddle.
He was a member of the Tri-County Christian Church and he enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Bob was a meat cutter at Emge’s Packing House.
He is survived by daughters, Belinda (Jim) Cannon of Anderson and Lorraine (Leo) Kocher of Fortville; sister, Betty Beckner of Ingalls; grandchildren, Angela (Martin) Weipert, Lorie (Steve) Bowman, Danielle (Larry) Dodson, Matt (Carrie) Starr, Misty (Dave) Wattenbarger; companion, Sue Ann Horton; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Bloomer) Riddle; son, Paul Riddle and granddaughter Jessica Rayford.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call from 1:30 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
