Tuttle Orchards offers nature series for pre-schoolers and parents

GREENFIELD – Tuttle Orchards, 5717 N. County Road 300W, presents summer series topics for pre-schoolers: strawberries from 10 to 11 a.m. June 13, 14, 15; butterflies from 10 to 11 a.m. July 11, 12, 14; sunflowers from 10 to 11 a.m. August 8, 9, 11. Each series includes story time about farming and science, hands-on activities and a snack with some cider. The cost is $5 per child; parents are free. Women meet for Crafty Ladies Parks and Recreation art workshop

GREENFIELD – The Crafty Ladies Club Art Workshop meets from noon until 2 p.m. every Tuesday at the Patricia Elmore Center Art Studio, 280 Apple St. The cost is $8 per workshop for residents or $10 per workshop for non-residents. Family coloring activity open to all ages

GREENFIELD – The Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, offers quiet time for coloring from 3 to 3:45 p.m. Monday. Families and patrons of all ages are welcome to participate.
