ANGOLA, IN — Pendleton resident Noah Gaar was recently inducted into the Trine University chapter of Phi Eta Sigma during its annual induction ceremony. Gaar, an exercise science/pre-physical therapy student, was among the 26 students inducted into the Trine University chapter April 20. Phi Eta Sigma is a national honor society honoring academic achievement by first-year students at institutions of higher learning. The society has chapters on 378 campuses across the United States and has inducted more than 1.1 million scholars since its founding, according to a news release.
