GREENFIELD — The Country Kritters 4-H Club recently had its monthly meeting at the Hancock County Community Foundation, where club reporter Jordyn Wickard said the club learned about the organization and what it does for the community.
The Hancock County Community Foundation, established 25 years ago, is a nonprofit public charity that supports local philanthropy and supports nonprofit organizations. The foundation oversees hundreds of funds that support everything from scholarships to keeping clean water in the community, according to records from the community foundation.
The group also learned about philanthropy from foundation staff, Wickard said.
