GREENFIELD — Police detectives are warning against drug-laced candies that were recently found in Greenfield. And one man suspected of manufacturing the drugs has already been arrested, police said.
Greenfield Police Department officers recovered more than 100 tablets, called “sweet tarts,” during a recent investigation.
These new drugs look like candy but are laced with different drugs, including Xanax and heroin, officials said.
Investigators are asking parents to talk with their children about the substances and to call police if they find anything suspicious.
