McCordsville church plans bazaar

McCORDSVILLE — A holiday bazaar runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway.

Handmade gifts and treats from local artisans and vendors will be available.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A free-will offering will benefit the church.

GREENFIELD — The Sinclairs will share music in a 10:30 a.m. service Dec. 11 at Curry’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 3488 N. County Road 375E.

Santa to visit New Palestine for breakfast

NEW PALESTINE — Breakfast with Santa is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at Community Christian Church, 3123 S. County Road 500W, New Palestine.

The event features breakfast, a bake sale, a silent auction, vendors, crafts and lunch. Photos with Santa are available from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Tickets are $4 per adult/child above age 2. Tickets are $5 at the door. Ticket price includes a 4×6-inch picture with Santa.

Band, dance troupe present celebration

GREENFIELD — Christmastide Celebration will be presented by Brandywine Wind Band & Jazz Band, along with Wilkerson Dance Studio, at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at Trinity Park United Methodist Church, 207 W. Park Ave.

The theme of this year’s celebration is Christmas Past. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or online at brandywine-wind.org.

Choir, symphony perform concert

GREENFIELD — The community is invited to One Silent Night, a Christmas ballad of love and joy by Pepper Choplin, as performed by the Chancel Choir of Greenfield Christian Church and the Greenfield Symphony Orchestra. This concert will be given at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. East St.

Gathering of games, food coming up

FORTVILLE — Fortville Church of the Nazarene has started Second Saturdays, a community event that takes place every second Saturday of the month at the church, 701 S. Maple St.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the event begins at 6. The evening features games, prizes, music, food, a Bible story and fellowship for the entire family. If you have questions, call the church at 485-6443.
