Gloria Jean Kohr
Gloria Jean Kohr, 70, of Osceola, Iowa, and formerly of Fortville, passed away early Monday morning, October 10, 2016. She was born September 29, 1946, in Corning, Cali. and is the daughter of Harmon E. Davis and the late Hattie M. (Anderson) Davis.
Gloria was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting. Gloria was a graduate of Knightstown High School.
Gloria is survived by her father, Harmon E. Davis; four children, Jimmy A. Davis (Donna), Jerry D. Davis (Charli), Patti J. Racobs (Mike) and Priscilla J. Bevans; ten grandchildren, James Jr., Justin, Samantha, Elizabeth, Josh, Nick, Jacob, Juddson, Cheyenne, and Shannon; five great-grandchildren, Alyson, Emerson, Edith, and a baby-to-be Downton; a brother, Kenny E. Davis; and her companion, Gary Muselman.
In addition to her mother; she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve W. Davis and an infant brother; her husband, Michael Kohr and a great-grandson, Ryan.
A Memorial Visitation for Gloria will be held from Noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, October 15 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 South State St, Greenfield.
Memorial Contribution may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, a cause very close to Gloria’s heart, envelopes will be provided at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Michael R. Johnson, CFSP and the staff of Garden View Funeral Home.
