Two people were arrested Wednesday night amid allegations they broke into the home of a woman who recently died.
Police say Christopher Ward and Shalagene Sparks entered a home in the 1100 block of County Road 400W, pocketing knick-knacks and other small items.
A family member of the deceased homeowner, who was driving through the area, noticed the truck Ward and Sparks were driving parked in his relative’s driveway and called 911, police said.
Investigators came to the home and arrested Ward and Sparks. Both are being housed in the Hancock County Jail.
