Morris Wayne Bridgewater, 68, of Kent, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 17th, 2016, at his home in Kent. He was born September 23, 1947, in Jeffersonville, Ind., to Morris and Odessa (Inman) Bridgewater.
Morris was a graduate of Greenfield High School, Greenfield, Indiana. He retired from Chrysler Corp. in Twinsburg, after working there for thirty nine years. He was a member of Bean Blossom Mennonite Church in Morgantown, Ind. Morris was a member of Portage County Field and Stream Club. He loved hunting and fishing. His greatest joys in life were the Lord, his family, his friends, and his little dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Jacky (Andrews) Bridgewater, whom he married on June 19th, 1967; son, Kevin Bridgewater of Kent; daughters, Erin (Brian) Lane of Colorado Springs, Co.; Beverly (Milo) Mills of West Lafayette, Ind; grandchildren, Khrystian and Katie Bridgewater of Kent; Brynne, Paul, Ria and Victoria Mills of West Lafayette, Ind.; sisters, Gloria (Eugene) Bainter of Greenfield; and Nina (Jerry) Pendlum of Athens, Ala.
Private family services will be held.
