Kent William Bullman, 63, Greenfield, passed away on May 5, 2016, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1952, in Franklin, Ind., to Arthur Frederick Bullman and Darlene (Baker) Bullman.

He met and married Debbie Bullman in 1991, and they have been happily married for 24 years prior to his passing. Kent attended New Palestine High School and attended classes at Ivy Tech. After completing his education, he was self-employed as an HVAC engineer and was a previously a member of the Greenfield Elks. Kent had many joys in life including racing, his motorcycle, snowmobiling, boating and traveling, and he was a great card player. He was known for being a loving husband, son, brother, father and the best papaw around, with his most important joy in life being the time he spent with his friends and family.

In addition to his wife, Kent is survived by his son, Nick (Nikki) Oertel; daughter, Jill (Michael) Strobel; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Reid, Abby and Henry; mother, Darlene Bullman; sister, Janet (Jim) Bradbury; brothers Gary (Carla) Bullman and Andy (Brenda) Bullman; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Bullman.

Visitation for Kent will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 9, with a memorial service 7 p.m. following the visitation at Hendryx Mortuary — New Palestine Chapel, 19 East Main St., New Palestine,

IN 46163.
