Woman who posed as nurse to plead guilty
GREENFIELD — A McCordsville woman has agreed to plead guilty to charges she faces related to practicing nursing without a license.
Ashley Trent, 29, was charged in July with several felonies, including 10 counts of forgery and one count of theft, as well as two misdemeanor charges of practicing nursing without a license, after her former employers, Developmental Service Alternatives, discovered she had never obtained her nursing license but was providing medical care to people with disabilities, investigators said.
Details of a plea agreement have not yet been made public.
Trent is scheduled for sentencing Oct. 15 in Hancock Circuit Court.
