‘Big Hero 6’ screening scheduled at Riley Park

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Public Library and the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department will present a free showing of “Big Hero 6” at 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Riley Park sledding hill, 280 Apple St. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets and watch the movie under the stars during the outdoor screening.

Junior Rodeo Association returning to Greenfield

GREENFIELD — The Indiana Junior Rodeo Association returns to the Hancock County Fairgrounds at 10 a.m. Saturday for two days of mutton-busting, calf-roping and barrel-riding. ‘Office Space’ leads movie series at library

GREENFIELD — Adults in the 20 to 39 age group are invited to enjoy the movie “Office Space,” starring Jennifer Aniston and Ron Livingston as frustrated workers taking revenge on their bosses, at the Hancock County Public Library at 7 p.m. Saturday. Films for this series are picked especially for this age range of audience. The film is rated R for language and brief sexuality.

Free admission hours set at Children’s Museum

INDIANAPOLIS — The first Thursday of every month from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. brings free admission to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, 3000 N. Meridian St. Families are welcome to explore all five floors of museum galleries and participate in activities and programs throughout the museum.
