GREENFIELD — The hunt for an accused child molester ended Friday afternoon when police officers located the man in a relative’s Indianapolis home.

David Cuautle, 41, of Greenfield, was arrested Friday on felony charges of child molest, child exploitation and possession of child pornography.

A warrant was issued for Cuautle’s arrest after a Greenfield teenager reported he had touched her inappropriately while she was visiting his home in the 400 block of West South Street on April 23.

The girl told police her friend’s father touched her inappropriately while she was lying on the family’s couch.

Police found five photographs of a child wearing the same pajamas as the victim on Cuautle’s cellphone, police reported.

Cuautle faces two counts of child molesting, four counts of child exploitation and one count of possession of child pornography.

If convicted, he would face up to 118½ years in prison and up to $80,000 in fines. A judge set Cuautle’s bond at $10,000 cash, according to court records. Cuautle remained in the Hancock County Jail at press time.
