To the editor:
I wanted to comment that I am in complete agreement with Mr. Matthews’ assessment of the heavy traffic situation downtown that adversely affects any revitalization efforts (Column: “Mayoral candidates need to focus on traffic problem,” A6).
I would love to know what both mayoral candidates plan to do about this specific issue because it really is the first puzzle piece that should be put in place if we are to make our downtown more pedestrian friendly.
