GREENFIELD — Several local teams placed in state music competitions over the weekend.
The Greenfield-Central High School indoor percussion team placed eighth in its class, and the New Palestine High School team placed fifth in its class.
The Greenfield-Central winter guard team placed third in open class, and the Mt. Vernon guard team placed 11th in Class A.
The New Palestine High School Diamond Sensations women’s show choir placed seventh, while Crimson Heat, the mixed group, placed eighth.
