Nancy E. (Chappell) Strother, 76, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Community East Hospital. She was born on Nov. 3, 1938, in Indianapolis, as the daughter of Loren and Dorothy (James) Chappell.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Irma Stacey of Indianapolis; son Delmar Strother of Indianapolis; sister Doris Bright of Fountaintown; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Dorothy (James) Chappell; sister Jean Ann Gates; and brother Richard Chappell.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Anderson Cemetery in Indianapolis.
