Karen L. Garmene, 56, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at St. Vincent Heart Hospital, Carmel. She was born April 2, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Richard and May Aileen (Ferdon) Garmene.
Karen was a graduate of New Palestine High School and a service coordinator and dispatcher for Wiese, USA. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and was active in the women’s auxiliary of the American Legion, Shelbyville Post.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Garmene-Bupp of Greenfield, significant other, Jerry Bunyoff; brothers David Garmene and Dick Garmene.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents and sister Bernice Garmene.
Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield, IN, 46140. A celebration of life service will be at 5 p.m. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at Arlington Gardens Cemetery, 2145 Compton Rd., Cincinnati, OH, 45231.
