Local woman celebrated as black history maker

GREENFIELD — A local woman is being celebrated as a McDonald’s Black History Maker of Today.

The McDonald’s of Central Indiana recently recognized Vanessa Moore and five other black leaders from around the state.

Moore and her husband, Eric, own the McDonald’s restaurant located at 1490 N. State St. in Greenfield. They also own the restaurant at 2290 N. County Road 600W.

She is being recognized for demonstrating extensive community involvement and professional and academic achievement. The Black History Makers of Today are Central Indiana individuals who excel in their respective professions and positively impact their communities.
