C. Marshall Tague, 97, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care, Greenfield. He was born July 17, 1917, in Monroe County, Ind., to the late Claude R. and Lottie C. (Kirk) Tague.
The Tague family moved to Hancock County in 1937. Marshall married Evelyn (Barrett) on Oct. 13, 1940. Together Marshall and Evelyn farmed until his retirement in 2003.
He is survived by daughter, Linda (George Jones) Bell of The Villages, Florida; brother, M. Hershell Tague of Pompano Beach, Fl.; daughter in law, Tara Tague of Greenfield; grandchildren, Erin (Derek) Thomas, Cheri (Michael) Cole, Elizabeth (Greg) Crabtree and great grandchildren, Madelynn Cole, Evan Cole, Ireland Grace Crabtree and Reagan Crabtree.
Mr. Tague is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; son, Robert Tague and sister, Esther Tague.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Service will follow at 1p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
