Coach’s take: “Zach has been our all-around leader. He’s the epitome of what a great teammate should be,” Lewis said. “He’s a very, very classy kid, who is going to be a very successful adult. … His role has definitely changed from last year. I know he was on the floor a lot, but he’s accepted and embraced his role and will do whatever it takes for the team to win. As far as practice and things like that, he’s that guy that keeps us balanced, that keeps us locked in. You never have to worry about whether Zach Batton is going to give you everything he’s got. He’s just a fighter.”
