Mary A. (Scott) Rodebeck, 66, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born on Aug. 4, 1948, in Tompkinsville, Ky., as the daughter of Elmer and Mary (Cleary) Scott. She married Robert L. Rodebeck on April 14, 1983.
Mary was a homemaker, as well as a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Morristown. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, reading, and sewing. She took pride in entertaining her family and friends at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Greenfield; daughters, Melissa (Don) Kellems of Indianapolis, Jennifer (Robert Jr.) Waterman of New Palestine, Addeline (Scott) Deckard of Cumberland, and Shanna (Matthew) Wray of Georgetown; brothers, Billy Scott and Keith Scott; sisters, Dean Holbrook, May Basso, Callie Cole, Bonnie Jobe, and Fran Triplett; and six grandchildren, Lacie, Rebecca, Alexis, Kaden, Lily, and Donovan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Scott; brother, William Scott; and sister, Shirley Archibald.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Dr. Wayne Scott will be officiating. Immediately following the service there will be a memorial celebration from 4:30 until 8 p.m. at Grace Banquet Hall, 1555 East Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Friends and family are encouraged to attend.
