Joyce Marlene Moss Nicholson, 75, has passed from us, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield. Joyce was born on Nov. 26, 1939, to the late Lola (Martin) and Dale Snodgrass at Greenfield Regional Hospital.
She attended Greenfield Schools. She was married to David Orville Nicholson for 55 years before his passing. They attended Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church in Greenfield, and raised five children together. Joyce was a bookkeeper and a homemaker.
She is remembered by her immediate charm and hospitality.She was as resourceful and efficient in business as she was caring and dedicated to her family. Joyce enjoyed beautiful things and the company of her loved ones.
Joyce is survived by her children, Jason (Misty) Nicholson, Jane Nicholson, Joy VanAlst, and Julie (August Bondi) Lopez; her siblings, Gary Moss and Judy Truscott; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, whom loving called her Grammy Joyce.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; and a daughter, Deborah Rose.
A public visitation for Joyce will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19th, with burial to follow at Park Cemetery.
