Teresa L. Christopher, 57, of Sheridan, Ind., passed away at home, with her family and friends by her side, on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 2, 2014. She was born on May 26, 1957, to James D. Clem and Bessie Cooper Clem in Anderson, Indiana
On September 2, 1988, Teresa married Keith W. Christopher in the United Methodist Church in Knightstown, Ind. Teresa enjoyed camping, fishing, playing darts, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the K.V. Elliott Sheridan American Legion Post 67 Ladies Auxiliary and the Knightstown United Methodist Church.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Keith Christopher of Sheridan; her mother and step father, Bill and Bessie Waldroff of Shirley; her daughters, Angela K. Shipley of Anderson, Rachel L. (Corey) Inman of Sheridan; stepson, Justin M. Christopher; stepdaughter, Megan L. Christopher; four grandchildren, Chianne Baldwin of Noblesville, Madison Thomas of Alexandria, Ind., Taylor Inman of Sheridan and Caleb Shipley of Anderson; her brother, Frank Clem of Greenfield; her sisters, Karen (Danny) Breese of Knightstown, Tina Adams of Greenfield, Gerille (Shawn) Jenkins of Greenfield, Cheryl Clem-McIntyre of Oakville, Ind., and Tammy Clem-Garvin of Lafayette; brothers-in-law, Scott Christopher of Whitestown and Brian (Lisa) Christopher of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Dianne (Greg) Christopher of Knightstown; many nieces and nephews, relatives and special friends; and her besty, Monica Wood of Sheridan.
She was preceded in death by her father, James D. Clem; her sister, Diane Clem; niece, Debbie Gadberry, and her uncle, Jesse F. Cooper.
Visitation from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at the Kercheval Funeral Home, 306 East 10th Street; Sheridan, IN. St Vincent Hospice Chaplain, Sue Ross, will be officiating.
