Charles Marvin Webster, 100, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Morristown Manor in Morristown. He was born on July 26, 1913, to the late Charles Thomas and Dove Anna (Saul) Webster. Charles married Myrtle Wray on Aug. 30, 1934.

He worked as a farmer most of his life. He also worked construction jobs and maintenance at Irvin Material before retiring in 1977. When he wasn’t being a workaholic, Charles loved spending time with his family and grandkids, being outdoors and deer hunting. He attended church ay Curry’s Chapel Methodist Church.

Charles is survived by his sons, Donovan R. Webster of Greenfield and Jerald Kenneth “Kenny” (DeeAnn) Webster of Shelbyville; his daughter, Caroline S. Peterson of Tamarac, Fla.; his brother, Hampton Webster of Pa.; grandchildren, Scott (Karen) Webster, “Chuck” Paul Charles Webster, Amy Hodge, Doug (Cindy) Webster, Kim Webster, Tim Lawson, Patricia (Ken) Schaefer; great- grandchildren, Dustin Webster, Emily Webster, Brooke Webster, Brittany (Josh) Carlton, Colten Webster; great- great- grandchildren, McKinley Webster, Carlton Webster, Rylen Webster, and many nieces and nephews.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myrtle (Wray) Webster; brothers, Carl Webster, Ernest Webster, Rufus Webster, Cyrus Webster.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m.  Monday, April 21, 2014, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Monta Vista Church of Brethren, 25 Wades Gap Road, Callaway, VA 24067. Burial will follow immediately after in the cemetery.
