Kenneth H. Blankenbaker, 82, of New Palestine died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at the Springhurst Health Campus, in Greenfield. He was born to the late Wesley and Anna (Rippey) Blankenbaker of Salem, Ind.
He graduated from Salem High School in 1949 and married Carol Day in 1949.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Shirley Blankenbaker of New Palestine; children, Denna (David) Wright; Myron (Patricia) Blankenbaker and Amy (Neil) Van-Wart of Fla.; one brother, Irvin (Patsy) Blankenbaker of Tucson, Ariz.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-children and step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11-2 on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, with a funeral service immediately following at the Zion Lutheran Church in New Palestine, Ind.
