Nanny Beatrice (Bea) Nidiffer Tutorow

Nanny Beatrice (Bea) Nidiffer Tutorow, 94, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away Sept. 29, 2013, at her home in Grace Village at Winona Lake. Bea was born in Terre Haute, Ind. on January 22, 1919, to George Washington and Malinda (Davis) Nidiffer.

Bea graduated from South Bend Central High School and in her younger days loved to play softball. She married James Arthur Tutorow on July 21, 1936, and they were married for 53 years before his passing in 1989. They lived in Marion, Ind. most of their married life and she retired from Foster Forbes Glass Company.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Jackie) Tutorow of Warsaw and James A. (Marilyn) Tutorow II of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; and one daughter, Becky (Ted) Gaines of Greenfield; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 10 – 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, with services immediately following at 11 a.m. at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Ind. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Marion, Ind., following the services.
