Emagene (Hall) Herrin
Emagene (Hall) Herrin, 84, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born March 10, 1929, in Macon, Mo. the daughter of James L. and Bessie Mae Hall.
She was married to the late James W. Herrin. She worked as a homemaker her entire life. Emagene loved spending her time sewing and with her family.
She is survived by her son, James (Tammy) Herrin of Greenfield; brothers, Robert Hall, Richard Hall and Bill Hall all of Missouri; five grandchildren, Angela, Michelle, April, Lee and Samantha; and five great-grandchildren, Bobbie, Brendan, Addison, Gabrielle and Jackson.
Emagene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Connie Brummett; and siblings, Eugene, Hershel, Irene, James, Howard, Nadine, Dorothy, Herman, Donald, Hubert, Connie and infant twin brother and sister, Hubert and Bea.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Steve Bradley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
