Mary Lou (Wright) McDaniel
Mary Lou (Wright) McDaniel, 87, passed away Tuesday morning, May 14, 2013, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born July 29, 1925, in Shirley, the daughter of the late Gerald and Mabel (Harris) Wright.
Mary was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and spending time with her family was a must. She was a member of the Shirley-Wilkinson United Methodist Church, Shirley Eastern Star and the Shirley Alpha Club.
Surviving are her daughters, Connie (Tom) Veach, Karen (Larry) Raymer; sisters, Jeannine Collier, Betty Delph, Janet (Gene) Ramsey, and Beverly (Gary) Messick; brothers, Rev. Robert (Berniece) Wright and Byron (Marilyn) Wright; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband James (Don) McDaniel, in 2003; sister, Vivian Jordan; and brother, Rev. Eugene Wright.
Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at the funeral home, with Rev. Jenny Charles officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
