Lilly Mae (Day) Hisle
Lilly Mae (Day) Hisle, 87, formerly of Dublin, passed away March 28, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Greenfield. She was born March 22, 1926, to Kelly & Erasta (Stidham) Day in Weaubleau, Mo.
Lilly married Ronald “Shorty” Hisle in College Corner, Ohio, on Dec. 31, 1946. She was an active member of the Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Darrel Wayne (Kathy) Hisle of Greenfield; 2 grandchildren, Aaron Wayne Hisle and Hannah Marie Hisle, both of Indianapolis; brothers and sisters, Tom (Loraine) Day, Dale (Lavern) Day, Pruda Setser, Mary Ellen Thieman, Pauline (Irvin) Hart, all of Versailles, Indiana.
Lilly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on May 31, 2007; and 2 brothers, Harlan Day and Joe Day.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2013, with funeral services immediately following at 1 p.m., at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 1993 Cumberland Street, Dublin, IN, 47335. Josh Robertson of Stringtown Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, Dublin.
