Estella L. Kinder, 96, of Greenfield, passed away on March 12, 2013. Born on June 1, 1916, in Charlottesville, she was the daughter of Edward and Gertrude (Brooks) Holden.
Estella married Charles E. Kinder on June 6, 1936, and worked at Greenfield High School as an office cleaner. She also worked at Model A Nursing Home and Twin Brook Nursing Home. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Surviving her are her daughters, Charlene Barnes of Greenfield, Kay Hisey of Clearwater, Fla., Sharon Diamond of Indianapolis, and Donna McCaslin of Pisgah Forest, N. C.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles E. Kinder; parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 11a.m. until 1p.m., on Saturday, March 16, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1p.m. at the mortuary. Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
