Larry Lee Van Duyn, 74, a resident of Knightstown, formerly of Morristown, passed away Wednesday Nov. 7, 2012, at his residence. He was born March 19, 1938, in Greenfield, to the late Chester and Nema Iona (Hudson) Van Duyn.

He served in the Indiana Army National Guard and retired from International Harvester in 1990. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, was a “wheeler-dealer”, was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Roberts) Van Duyn of Knightstown; sons, Jeff (Darla) Van Duyn of Morristown, Doug (Shirley) Van Duyn of Shelbyville; daughter, Becky (Robert) Vaughn of Shirley; sister, Joyce Barclay; grandchildren, Dusty, Airman 1st Class Jeffrey II, U.S. Air Force, Cheyenne, Gregory, Kea, Brandon, SSGT Chris, U.S. Air  Force,  Kayla, Nash, Ashlee, Kelsey, Gary Alan; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Maliki, Mia, Bentley, Aubree, Jayden and Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois (Brown) Van Duyn; son, Greg Van Duyn; brothers, Vaughn, Kenny; sisters, Nila Gean Jordan, Donna Hewson; brother-in-law, Frank Jordan; and granddaughter, Jordyn Vaughn.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.  Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service Monday, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery, Morristown.
