Margaret A. ” Peggy” Kleiman

Margaret A. “Peggy” Kleiman, 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.  Born on Sept. 30, 1939, in Tishomingo County, Miss., she was the daughter of Carl and Lois (Milam) Turvaville. She married Richard A. “Dick” Kleiman on June 6, 1964 in Pirmasens, Germany.

She served in the Army for five years as a WAC and worked for the U.S. Army Finance Center for several years. Peggy was a caregiver to her mother and grandchildren, whom she cherished. She faithfully attended Park Chapel Christian Church of Greenfield. She loved to sew, do home decorating, and gardening, as well as go antiquing.

She is survived by her husband, Dick Kleiman of New Palestine; daughter, Ellen (Dennis) Kleiman-Redden of Fishers; son, Richard A. “Rich” Kleiman, Jr. of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Reagan Grace and Daniel Richard Kleiman; brother, Jimmy Dale Turvaville of Whiting, Ind.; sister, Mary Von Thigpen of Memphis, Tenn; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Harris Turvaville of Marietta, Miss.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Carl and Lois Turvaville; and two brothers, Benny Gale and Freddy Wayne Turvaville.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 9, from 4-7p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at Booneville Funeral Home in Booneville, Miss. with viewing two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at East Prentiss Cemetery in Mississippi.
