Mildred M. "Millie" (Beck) Sample, 91, Indianapolis, died on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at IU Health Methodist in Indianapolis. She was born on Aug. 4, 1921 in Granger, IA. She was the daughter of the late Claude A. and Mable L. Beck.
She is survived by her husband of almost forty years, Floyd E. Sample; daughter, Connie (Paul) Barada, one stepdaughter, Caroline (Ron) Holsinger; one sister, Faye Hanson; three grandsons, Paul Jr. (Kristen), William (Eileen), and Jonathan (Brooke) Barada; four step-grandchildren; Brian (Eva), Mark (Jen), Joel (Natalie) Holsinger, and Caren (Rob) Barnes; nine great-grandchildren, and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service was held at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel. Burial will be held in Lincoln Cemetery in Granger, IA, at a later date. Online condolences can be made at bellmortuary.com
