Sherry Lynn Long, 48, of Greenwood, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Sunday July 1, 2012, at her residence. She was born January 13, 1964, to Robert and Janice (LaValle) Kirkhoff.
She was a 1982 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and worked for over 15 years for CTW Electrical of Greenwood. Sherry was a homemaker, an avid shopper, Colt’s Fan and antique collector. She also loved being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Long of Greenwood, whom she married on June 16, 1990; daughters, Penny (Brandon) Garner of Sioux City, IA, Anna Fontanella of Greenwood; sister, Betsy Duncan of Greenfield; grandchildren, Vada Garner, Julian Garner, Skyler Strawn, Calina Garner; nieces, Nattalee and Brittany Duncan.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday July 6, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery, Greenfield at a later date.
