Joyce (Holt) Wiatt, 85, of Greenfield passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012. Joyce was born in Jamacia, NY on July 11, 1926, to the late Henry L. and Wilma (Thomes) Holt .
She Graduated from Purdue University. She was a retired Math Teacher at Charles A. Beard School System. She was a member of Tri Kappa, Philharmonic, Pike Community and Atheneum Orchestra which she played Violin and Viola. She was a Member of Friends Church for over 50 years and she was a Girl Scout Leader.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Michael) Garland; sisters, Janice Holt and Martha J.(James) Reisner; nephews, Charlie and Joseph; grandchildren, Joseph and Adam; and 4 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by parents and children John Wiatt and Christine Wiatt.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Knightstown Friends Church, 214 E. Brown St, Knightstown, Ind. Arrangements are being handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel.
