Richard Dale Wilson, age 68, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011. He was born on Nov. 26, 1942 in New Castle, to the late Harry and Jennie Lee Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, whom he married on April 9, 1982. He’s also survived by his son, Richard Dale (Carla) Wilson II of Indianapolis; three daughters, Beth (Brian) Preher of New Albany, Ind., Stacey (Chad Sexton) Wilson, and Heather (Matt Bray) Wilson, all of New Castle; three grandchildren; brother, Jack Wilson of New Castle; and two sisters, Louise (Paul) Ellis of Coral Springs, Fla., Virginia New of Wildwood, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Jerry Wilson; and sister, Thelma O’Donnell.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Macer-Hall Funeral Home, New Castle. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, with Rev. Phil Brown officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery. Military Honors by V.F.W. and the American Legion.
