Dewey Max Wilson, age 66, of New Castle, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, Sept. 16, 2011. He was born on Feb.1, 1945, in New Castle, a son of the late Silas Logan Dewey and Ruby Hester Smith Wilson.
He retired from Modernfold, as a Regional Sales Executive, following 30 years of service. He was an avid writer, golfer, fisherman, and Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Survivors include is wife of 46 years, Julia (Coop) Wilson of New Castle; children, Kimberly Marie (Tim) Wilson Estridge of Greenfield, Heather Patrice (James) Wilson Kesler of Greenfield, and Clinton Drew Wilson of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Paige, John and Jacob Estridge of Greenfield, Zoe and Samuel Kesler of Greenfield, and several nieces, nephews & cousins all of whom he loved very much.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Erville Wilson, Ralph Gail Wilson, Gerald Duane “Joe” Wilson, and Denny Wilson.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at the funeral home, with Pastor Donnie Shelley officiating. Burial will follow in Lewisville Cemetery.
