Kenneth I. Stearns, 76 of Knightstown, In. died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Hancock County Hospital. Kenneth was born Feb. 5, 1935, the son of Ezra Stearns and Beartha M. (Renfro) Stearns.
He is servived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Kenneth Jr. (Anna) and Jay (Linda) of Kightstown; four daughters, Judy (Bill) Golightly of San Antonio Texas, Vicky (Rocky) Reece of Kightown, Terry (Marlin) Moore of Rushville, and Dotty (Bill) Schneider of Flint Mich.; three brothers, Clifford Stearns of Connersville, David (Lee) Stearns of Mobile Ala., and Mike (Mary) Stearns of Grand Rapids Mich.; two sisters, Virginia (Harrold) Rihm of Sun City Fla., and Ann(Jan) Wright of New Castle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff Stearns Sr.; one grandson; sister, Betty Bence; and brother, Doug Stearns.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the Todd Funeral Home in Kightstownfrom. A private funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ken Wells and Pastor Bill House officiating. Burial will follow at the Glen Cove Cemetery.
