Elaine G. Amory Burton, age 94, of Greenfield, formerly of Carmel, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010. Born Sept. 8, 1916, in Milwaukee, Wis., she was the daughter of the late John and Laura (Sheldrup) Glen.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Karri) Amory; daughter, Georganne (Sonny) McCord; two grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Glen.
Her husbands, George Amory and Carl Burton; brother, Sheridan Glen; and a grandson, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at the Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, with calling beginning at 3 p.m. A graveside service will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in the Oakhill Cemetery in Evansville.
